Cleffert's?

I believe that "Clefferts" (short for clone mefferts) was a term coined by Monkeydude1313 to describe the QJ brand 4x4, available on dealextreme.

so then the second link I provided that went to mefferts website is mefferts and the first one is also mefferts just sold on C4Y?
So then "clefferts" is QJ one on C4Y/dealextreme?

Basically a Meffert's 4x4 is a Rubik's 4x4 (they have the same mech.) without the crappyness, and a QJ 4x4 is a Meffert's 4x4 without a few kinks. QJ is the best (in some people's opinions) but Meffert's is really close. Not much of a difference though.

But the "Clefferts" tag has stuck and just won't go away. Just like the mistake of calling "Monkey Kong" as "Donkey Kong" by accident.

The Mefferts and QJ/Clefferts 4x4 is most likely made in the same factory in China.

And I own a white QJ/Clefferts 4x4 with tiles. Brought from Ebay with free shipping worldwide.

Actually that is a deliberate error by Nintendo. It is a metaphor for how stubborn he is. :p

Donkey Kong is so named as it means "Fool Kong". Nintendo made no mistake in its naming.

And anyone who calls this classic game "Monkey Kong" is... well, just wrong!

EDIT: Take a look at the wikipedia page.
