I think that was the event at Hamley's on Regent St in London - I got an invite but couldn't attend due to work commitments. Dan Harris is also in that opening shot.

Charlie was on NZ news too

[CharlieCooper]

Dene! LInk me, I want to se the NZ thing, I think it was a different film crew for that so might have different footage Thanks for posting, I've been cropping up in random countries of late.

I tried to take the footage for myself after it was on the news but VLC kept converting the video without the image, only the audio. I would link you to the site but I don't think it will work for someone outside New Zealand. I'll have a look on YouTube for it.

EDIT: I can't find it on YouTube. Here's the link anyway, it might work.

Wow, epic cake.

[Samania]

Woah. This makes me want to make a rubik's Cookie ;D

Awww... would've thought that with five years to work on it, they'd make the cake actually turnable.

I got a "This video is only available within New Zealand" message, directly followed by the video. So apparently Germany (or at least my place) is within New Zealand.

Ditto here in UK

[CharlieCooper]

oh nice. Why didn't they get any footage of Chinese cubers like Haiyan Zhuang or Haixu?

Because the footage is from a UK event where those people were not present. It was filmed by Reuters who have then sold on the footage to various news companies around the world, hence why us UK people are randomly appearing in different countries!
