C : Lame Ain't an MP3 Encoder.

C Help : Lame Ain't an MP3 Encoder.

I have been learning several programming languages recently, and
I am having a little bit of trouble.

I am attempting to extend Python using C.
I am extending it with the LAME MP3 tool.

I have no problems until I try to compile it(using distutils and MinGw).

Here's the problem

C:\Pylame> python setup.py build --compiler=mingw32
...
build\temp.win32-3.1\Release\pylame.o:pylame.c:(.text+0x11): undefined reference to 'lame_init'
***several more similar errors***

It is not recognizing the lame functions.
I have the code, but I think it is a problem with my linking.

I am using Lame 3.98.4.
Can any one help please?! I am not sure what to do. :confused:
