Buying V-Cube 5 AT Stanford Fall 2012

I have a 7x7 and realized I really SHOULD have gotten a 5x5 first(facepalm) So, I immediately looked at the V-Cubes, but they are all too expensive. Does anyone who is going to the Stanford Fall 2012 Competitions have a V-Cube 5 in decent shape that they can sell to me for under 16 or 17 dollars?

You should get shenghous 5x5 . It s much faster and smoother and you can get them at 10 dollars

Can the SS corner cut?

My SS lubed with a bit of lubix cuts about one cubie one the outer layers, and a little under one cubie on the double layers. It doesn't really reverse corner cut, however the florian mod is supposed to fix that on the outer layers. I personally haven't done that on mine.

It's really good if you do it right, but it gets better if you break it in after modding.
