Hello, If you have not already noticed, my cube lubing service/charity fundraiser seems to have failed miserably:(
and I have noticed that many people suggest a harder, more complicated task for me to raise money.

If you live close to San Jose, California, or you are willing to ship your magic to me (I know, highly unlikely), and you would like me to restring your rubiks magic, contact me at [email protected], or pm me. I will double string your magic, and if you are NOT satisfied, contact me and I will re-restring your magic for no extra cost. The service will cost $5, plus expenses if needed (e.g., if you don't have 16 strings I would need to make more strings.)

80% of all profits will go to the world wildlife fund (www.worldwildlife.org)

Look, if there was a cuber in every neighborhood, then something like this might be practical, but there isn't. :/ Start a cube store if you must but most people would prefer to spend 10 minutes restringing at home.
I was about to say exactly what you just said. I don't see this raising any funds as its not a huge service... If you were to mod v cube 6s or shengshou 5x5 then sure I can see you making money.

But why just Magics? Why not have a whole twisty-puzzle fixing/moding fundraiser? A lot of people don't have Magics, plus, those that do and can re-string it, might have other puzzles that need fixing. I know I have some.

Timed restringing in 8:32. I was actually missing one string that I didn't know about, so I pulled another out while timing.

This pace is 7 per hour, at $5 each, which is $35/hour. So you expect to get $35/hour by restringing magics? Of course this isn't even including the missing string(s)

One last question/comment, how can we be sure that $4 of the $5 will go to the organisation?
