Video Description
Cube: loose ZhanChi Silk

(10.84), 13.42, 11.56, 12.51, (13.65)

This is a PB by 0.2. These solves were solves #2 - #6 of a nonrolling avg of 12 attempt. The avg of 12 ended up being 14.76. I'll have a better avg of 12 on video in the near future.

Sorry for the slight delay in sound and the silly glare on the stackmat.

The pieces next to the laptop are partially-finished Silks.

First 3 solves - 7, 8, 9 move LLs :P

Followed by a couple of super good COLLs (imo) for OH.

Excellent solves, I'm amazed by how quickly you can plan EOLine, it's a little bit silly.

The EO lines/crosses in this solve were kind of easy. I get times like these when the LLs are favorable. I totally get screwed over by difficult EO lines. When the EO line is hard I just plan how to orient the edges and watch my two line edges.

I was thinking about a scrambler that would let the solver choose how many edges get misoriented so ZZ users can practice harder EO lines (like 6 and 10 wrong). I lack the programming knowledge to do this though. Any thoughts?

I don't actually know how to do that :| Basically, if you don't use the same edge orientation definition as the scrambler, it'd be a lot harder to make the scramble work.

I could always post-process the scramble to add a y or something, though. We'll see.

How does the scrambler's definition of edge orientation work?

Personally, I inspect/solve using blue front with yellow top. The number of wrong edges stays the same when I scramble with WCA orientation.
