Any GOOD and EASY to follow guides for the square-1

thrawst confused me along with monkeydude.

i do an algorithm that supposively switches certain pieces but it does something completely different. i know for a fact im doing the right moves. but there might be something im not realizing. any help?

you know, i'm just learning one now so i have no clue. i managed to get square shape and U and F oriented correctly intuitively though. Are you sure you are understanding the notation right?

eh somewhat. i can get it into cube shape it's just the permutation.

I started with Thawsts video and then enlarged my inventory of algs using http://www.jaapsch.net/puzzles/square1.htm

note, you have to do the permutation alg from the video twice

I tried to learn from there... there's too many algorithms (talking strictly about EP) to memorize.

^^^ The first link that Edam put up is really easy for algos...I think you need like 4 or 5 total so I would suggest it for you (plus 1-2 more for polarization)
