Am I Good At Rubik's Magic?

hi there. I have been timing my Rubik Magic solves for a few days. now my average is 2.78 sec. and my best time 1.86 sec. Am I Good At the Rubik's Magic and any tips?

You're alright for your age, but you should really learn the advanced method (watch fast solvers on Youtube) and get used to doing it all in one movement in the air. It shouldn't take too long to get under 1.5 seconds that way.

Also: if you want to be even a little serious about Magic, you'll need to get a StackMat and solve with that. Practicing with the spacebar will just teach you bad habits when it comes to picking up and putting down the puzzle.

I got to sub 2 in like a few hours. But compared to people who practice a little you aren't pro.

you should watch eric's video, and if your going to use the space bar, don't use the countdown thing.

I don't think age has anything to do with skill... Obviously a 3 year old wont be amazing, but if anything does, cubing proves that any age can do whatever.

But yeah, do the flipping in mid air.

When i started magic I wasn't very good i thought i was good but I wasn't. I couldn't get an average under 2 seconds. I liked how fast i could move my hands. It was addictive. I practiced and practiced there will be a time where you times will stop and be the same for a while. Just keep practicing. Your OK but you can get really good don't stop keep practicing. My best average of 5 is .85 and my single is .84 best +2 .81 I stopped and focused on my grades and im not that great now i need to practice more. Keep practicing then you will be good.
