In case any of you have tried http://alg.garron.us/, you might have been annoyed by unexpected errors when your notation wasn't interpreted correctly.

At Stefan's prompting (to make (Rr)2 B2 (Rr)' U2 (Rr)' U2 B2 (Rr)' B2 (Rr) B2 (Rr)' B2 (Rr)2 B2 work), I redid the notation definitions in CubeTwister.
Except for typo-ish errors in the XML, I believe WCA.xml is up to date, and both WCA and SiGN behave correctly for most uses of notation, grouping, repetition, inversion.
I still had to make a few arbitrary choices (like the extent of multi-slice support), but I tried to stay consistent.

Could you all try a few of your favorite algs (preferably with some complicated/nested maneuvers), and tell me if anything unexpected happens?

It's actually a bigger update, but I'll just add to this thread:

I just added my AlgTyper to alg.garron.us (for 3x3x3 moves only). If you're used to Heise controls, it's now really easy to input an alg and send someone a link. And if you have the scramble to a solve, reconstruction only involves redoing it in the AlgTyper applet.

There are still a few usability issues (no queued controls like Heise, no mouse input, Clear doesn't work correctly yet, color, move spacing...), but for only one night of hacking, I think it's pretty usable.
There are also no directions, but it should make sense if you try to use it.

Also, Jelinek deserves lots of credit for making a hackable applet.

Lies! I asked about (Rr)2 B2 (Rr)' U2 (Rr)' U2 B2 (Rr)' B2 (Rr) B2 (Rr)' B2 (Rr2) B2. It's an alg someone posted and I didn't know it and didn't have a 4x4 with me but still wanted to see what it does. Plus I suspected the (Rr2) to be wrong but couldn't rightfully reply "Dude check your alg with Lucas' page before you post". Now it works and thus I can, thanks a lot. AlgTyper 3x3x3 seems to work well. Don't really have more tests right now.

Aha. I'd noticed, but I wanted to see the corrected alg myself. Note "at Stefan's prompting," not "at Stefan's request." ;)

I'm still a bit concerned about http://tinyurl.com/algR-F-lF-LFUL2. It seems difficult to disable/overwrite something about permutations in Randelshofer's applets.
