The goal for this challenge is to determine the colors of the 6th side of a 3x3 while only looking at the other 5.

You are allowed a 3x3, a pencil, and a blank sheet of paper.

Scramble the cube without looking at it and then set it down on the table. You may not lift up the cube to look at the D face until you are finished with the challenge.

Remember you are only allowed ONE cube, and that is the cube you are scrambling. If you use another one to help you with color scheme that is cheating.

Here are the scrambles:
1) L2 B2 U' F L' D B2 D B L' U2 R' B' L2 B R2 U' L F' L D L' D' B' L2
2) D2 F2 U L2 U2 B' U' B2 L F2 D R2 B' D B2 R2 D F R' B U' F R2 B' D2
3) B' U L2 B2 L F L' B' D' B D' F L D R' D2 L2 F2 D' F D' B L2 D2 F'
4) U' L2 B U2 R2 D F R U' R B L' D2 R' F D' F' R2 U2 B L2 F2 L F2 D
5) D' B R B2 D2 R2 F2 D' L B L U L B D R2 B2 R' B' U' F' U' B D' F

Do an average of 5 if you want, or just try a few for fun.

Scrambles 3 and 5 are a bit tricky. But it can be deduced.

I won't submit my times because I already checked them all to make sure they were possible and I wasn't timing myself.

Good Luck!

I only did number 3 because you said it was tricky
I might do more tomorrow
1:49.27
That was actually really fun

#1 1:46.02
#2 1:04.70
#3 5:04.94
#4 1:05.30
#5 DNF

3 and 5 are hard :/ my way of doing 3 took so long I just gave up on 5. How can it be done relatively fast? My way was really slow. That was fun though.

1) DNF (1:52.18)
2) 1:22.57
3) 2:02.53 (I took a 50/50 guess on DB and DR and got lucky ^^)
4) 0:52.06
5) DNF (0:51.57) (I took a 50/50 guess on DL and DU and was wrong)

average: DNF
I'm sooo surprised XD

I'm looking at three and I have these two orange pieces. I think the only way to tell which is which is by figuring out the number of oriented pieces. What a ***** that is going to be.

Edit: Idk if I'm on to anything.

I don't have the dedication to use my method to find the correct edge position. I solved all but 5 and 3, DNFed on 4 because of carelessness though.

You shouldn't have told us that 3 and 5 were hard. I already knew it would come down to two pieces and I'd have to count cycles.
