I recently got a rubik's revenge and learnt to solve it by reduction. I now am learning the K4 method as I kind of prefer it over redux.
Now i wanted to know, what are the advantages of solving M ring centres after 3 edge pairs, and what are the disadvantages? I don't see the restriction of not using L, F, B as a disadvantage, so is there anything else? Also, is making 6 dedges and placing them on the left and right side like roux blocks, and then building M ring centres with l, r and U a bad idea because of too much restrictions - and does it have any advantages?
I'd also like to know if there is something like an optimum movecount for solving the centres and edges in those ways. I think there's no such thing cuz to me statistics on a revenge cube are just too complicated (lol). But I'd appreciate if anyone could post them.
