Dene hold it right there. I don't remember Ron saying bad words like damned or something ever after solving. He rarely ever slams the timer down (never as I recall) and walks aways cursing and he especially doesn't behave like an 8 year old.
Please don't talk this way about the man that learned/told me not to curse and swear loud after solves or slam timers...
Can't really force anyone to have a certain facial expression. It'd hard to be prohibit people of looking sad after bad solves...

Dene said slamming the cube down (not timer), and yea, he did kinda do that, not even caring about getting a +2. I viewed Ron the same way Dene put his post.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the feedback.

I am a bit strange guy. When I am happy, I am very happy. When I am unhappy, I am very unhappy. Whenever I solve I have a grumpy face, cannot help that. But notice that I smiled more than I cried! Smiling of disbelief.
It is really annoying when only 1 out of 15 solves in a competition is a solve without a big mistake. That solve was the 4th solve of the final.
During the final I tried 5 different approaches, first solve I was very concentrated, second I was very relaxed, third I focused on F2L, fourth I went very slow, fifth I was extremely focused. Nothing helped. That's life.

Anyway, it was a very long day. Often the final is when everyone is very tired, especially if you scrambled hundreds of cubes and judged a lot all day.

Woah, Stefan got 9.56! Anyone care to explain what the solve was like?

Also, looked a good event. I prefer the format of the final there than at UK Open, where everyone was watching a single person solving.
