3x3 Rubiks. How many algs do you need in your solution?

I guess, 57 OLL+21 PLL (although, I just mirror many of them, so the same question arises, if they count as separate or not?) I know a few for F2L, although most are intuitive, not sure if they count. We'll say, I know around 100, although, that completely depends on how you interpret it. I need to learn MGLS :( .

200... amazing... now i know why you guys can do the cube soooo fast (^^;
Not at all. Nobody gets fast just by memorizing a bunch of algs, there's much more to it. I guess that most sub-15 cubers could average sub-20 using just a few algs.

Let's see, I'm switching to VH from Fridrich. I don't know all the VHF2L or COLL algorithms yet, but here is the count.

Cross-0 (intuition)
3 F2L pairs-pretty much intuitive (used to use algs, but now I am exploring different ways of pairing up c/e pairs, etc.)
4th F2L pair-16 (32 counting mirrors)
COLL-40
EPLL-4
Total-76

Unless you plan on doing ZB at the end, VH is not useful.

Your wrong, when recognition for COLL is fully learned it is a little faster than OLL-PLL. That because recognition for the VH case is many times zero (you see it when you look for the pair) and recognition for EPLL is most times done before COLL is ended.

And you don't have to mess with tricky PLL's in the end, it is always easy and also skips pretty often =)
