3-2-2-2-3 Edge Tutorial pl0x

here

I believe it is the first video.

Syuhei doesn't use that edge pairing method anymore. That was 3-6-3 pairing.

Syuhei's 3-2-2-2-3 is really easy. I dunno how to explain it in detail with words, but basically you just start with a Uw and pair up 3 edges with Uw'. Then, using the one unsolved edge as buffer, pair up the other edges, while preserving the back 2 pairs so you never have to look at them.

Or you can just choose to solve edges like normal 2-2-2 pairing after the first 3 edges.

I hope I made sense.

Agreed, that video is 3-6-3. I fail at 3-2-2-2-3.. I think I understand it but about 50% of the time it doesn't work, and those are the times when a piece I want ends up in the back 2 pairs or something. You are right, it is tough to explain in text.

If you make a video amostay, you'll be famous. I think I lot of people want this better explained :)

Haha, I would (because I love helping), but my 3-2-2-2-3 pairing is probably to weird...

for 32223 do you have to count the number of solved edges before pairing? becuase sometimes you get one autopair and that screws everything up (or not?)

Well, I don't. I don't really notice until the end, I guess I just do 3-2-2-2-2. If 2 pairs solve themself it's 3-2-2-3, and so on.

If that happens, maybe you could do a quarter turn e.g. (if you are using the E slice to pair up edges): L, L', F, F', R or R', (so that there will hopefully be 1 or 2 unpaired dedges in the E slice), then continue to pair up edges.

Heheh, I try to make my tutorials and example solves easy to follow for anyone (so that people, whose english isn't that great, can understand).

(But it's not like I get many foreign subscribers heheh...)
