2x2x2 ice cube lubing

They can be lubed(assuming all 2x2x2s are essentially the same as I don't have an ice cube one) but when you take it apart the first time, it is hell to figure out how to put it back together. One of the suggestions I hear a lot on the web is to simply spray between the cracks to lube it. They say that it is good enough to do that.

How I lubed it:

Do a U on the cube just a tiny bit. then try to make an opening in the center of the cube like when you're trying to cut corners. Get the red straw thingy from your silicone spray and spray into the whole. Then the ice cube spins REALLY fast it can do like two rotations in one turn! Spray only for like a second or two.
