I have trouble getting the plastic sheets. Anything else you can use? I only have card board. Could you possibly use a saw or something to cut the edges instead of sanding? or at least cut most then sand to finish.
I can tell it's definitely worth it.

What did you use to sand down the centers and edges. I take it you didn't use sand paper.

@inusagi: yes, it fits all of the regulations.

@alex: I used a fake dremel tool I got from harbor freight. You just use a hacksaw, and then sand down to make it fine tuned though.

Dammit, I had the idea of this but I never got time to do it.

How do you make sure the structure doesn't turn 45 degrees ? Do you glue a 222 block together just like an Eastsheen 222's structure ?

Do you feel that sometimes you turn one layer and some other times two layers ?

I'm gonna make one soon, but, is it better than screw spring modified structure on ES 222 ?

Yes, you have to fuse a 2x2x2 block, just like, the ES 2x2 structure. I don't have any issues with the feel of layers turning together though, which is nice. From the one spring modded ES 2x2 i've felt, this is like 100000x better

Also, does it pop in the inside sometimes, is it really annoying ?

By the way, what is the second time ? Like under three second ? It's XLL skip, isn't it ? You use Ortega ?
