I think having the awards start in mid December makes so much more sense than trying to start it in November before the year is even close to finishing. I would even be in favor of having the award nominations start in January; that makes the most sense to me - so that any notable event or post that happened in the year can count and get voted in the awards.

That's fair. I believe most/all past forum awards have been started in mid-November, but I'm not opposed to the change

Please read the previous award ceremony threads to help assist in the process of nominating if you are unfamiliar with the process. If you spam the thread it's going to make it a lot harder for the organizers.

I think this thread should be closed and a new one created that gives more detail as it seems like none of the 2022 members have a clue about how it's supposed to function.
