well i use beginners method with 2 look oll/pll and i'm very slow i average about 1 minute 15 or so pb 55 secs and i wanted to know what can i do to get my average under a minute? i kind of got the hang of doing f2l intuitively but i aint too good at it?

I have the same situation as you. My Pb was 39 secs lucky. 45 nonlucky, but I average 50 secs. What I would recommend is getting a really smooth cube that glides and cuts very well. Also, start learning either the Plls or the F2Ls. They will help you improve bigtime. I am barely gonna start building the cross on the bottom to be able to look ahead. I recommend you do the same. We'll keep in touch
EDIT : also, work on cross lookahead, as the cross may easily take around 10 secs away from your time

Practice f2l. The problem is usually pauses in the f2l. If you can make it seamless using good look-ahead you'll knock off several seconds. Then you need to make sure you're turning the cube fast. Each algorithm for oll/pll should only take a few seconds.

I officially removed my "~~KangaRoux, Join the Rebellion~~" quote because I chose to use Roux because it was uncommon. If everyone joined the rebellion, the rebellion would be kind of pointless. I would like it to stay uncommon so good luck with your OLL/PLL :).
