Ok, I was wondering if I could use this, well, I know I CAN, but is this a good idea when transitting from 3 look to 2 look LL.

For those of you that don't know, 3 looks is solving the LL in 3 parts, OLL edges, OLL corners, PLL.

2 look is OLL, PLL.

2 and 1/2 look is 3 steps also, but heres how it works:

Ok, you just finish F2L, you look on the top if you see 4 edges, goto corners, if you see 2 edges, do the edge alg, then one of the corner OLLs, if you see no edges, this is the important part, then you preform a OLL and Orient the whole LL Because when doing 3 look, if you have no edges oriented, then you have to preform 3 algorithms, which can be very timely, so forth, learn the 7 OLLs where there are no edges oriented already.

Sorry if you don't understand it, just post what you don't understand and I'll try to explain as best as possible.

learn the 7 OLLs where there are no edges oriented already.
So you will miss out one of the OLL's with no-edges oriented for some reason?

I don't understand why you are posting this, no offence. You don't need advice or anything. Just learn all edges, then no-edges, and then learn the rest.

That actually sounds like a good idea. I'm currently doing a 3-look LL too and I'm always irritated when I get a no-edge last layer. But normally, during my last F2L move, I would try to predict whether it would end up with a no-edge layer. If it does, I try to do an edge control. That is...if I'm quick enough to react to it.

Still, it should work for those who want to transit from 3LLL to 2LLL!
