Hahah about that first scramble... So I had Noah as my judge and before he gave me the cube, he said "Doug, this is a really hard scramble." Now normally, this would be a red flag that he is being sarcastic, but he looked so serious, that the thought of sarcasm never even entered my mind.
My reaction was similar to yours, with an extra "Goddamit Noah" added on
