I'm looking for a high quality Megaminx for speedcubing. Does anyone know of any sites that sell them?
Mefferts seems to be "out of stock," but it has been like that for months. When will they get some in? Did they stop production or something?
I was looking at some sites like cube4you, but somehow a $5 product doesn't strike me as being of very high quality. Has anyone ordered one of these Megaminxs and can tell me how it is?
I'm also looking to order a 5x5x5 cube, preferably Eastsheen. I could just walk into my local toystore and buy a Rubik's brand 5x5x5, but from my experience with the storebought Rubik's brand cubes, they have extremely varying tensions, so it's a bit of a gamble, and there is a good chance you could end up with a bad cube. Also, the stickers are crap. The little plastic things over the stickers peel off, and then the paper wears off within a few days of use.
Are the stickers on the Eastsheen cubes any better, or will I end up having to order them from cubesmith again?
I was also considering the Rubik's DIY 5x5x5, but it is rediculously expensive, and on their site it says it isn't suitable for speedcubing.
