I don't. It's been 2 years since I touched these forums, 3 years since I went to a competition Speedcubing in Canada has definitely gotten super boring. Everything is in Alberta / BC now, while the greater Toronto area no longer has the fun competitions, just newbie 3x3 only competitions and...

Not a track runner but I do competitive swimming. I remember that I have a 22 minute 5k in a community run, but I lost around a minute or two waiting for traffic lights.

I'm not sure what a split tongue is, but I'm definitely not a native French speaker. I also know Cantonese and Toki Pona (for funsies :p)

Je peux parler deux langues at the same time.

Finally got my first sub-6 with a 5.749!!! Really lucky solve :D U' D2 F2 R' B2 U D2 L' U2 D L2 F2 R B' L' F U2 D' L2 R x2 // Inspection R' D F' R' L2' U L U' L' U' L // Cross + F2L1 R U' R' // F2L2 y U R' U R // F2L3 U2' R U2' R' U R U' R' // F2L4 r U r' R U R' U' r U' r' U2 // LL

I'll see what I can do! It's a bit hard to figure out the controls for mobile though, should I make it similar to the keyboard ones or should I limit the controls to only R, U, L and F moves (and the rotations)?

TL;DR - Got bored one day and decided to replicate the csTimer virtual cube on Scratch! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/850195663/ Before you click on the project, you'll just see a 5x6 grid of random squares of colours that seem to change randomly when you press on the keyboard. So, how the...

Cool thread! My worst solve of 2023 is a 17.131, and this time I got 9.524. Scramble --> B' R' L D B D2 B U' B2 L' B2 D2 B L2 D2 F U2 F' R2 D2 Also got a 7.365 on your scramble :p Very lucky fullstep!

My only LL skip was in comp (17 seconds I think), and I averaged 25 seconds back then.

Came back to cubing recently, and after a month I popped off with a sub 10 ao250! I still have to work on my turning because it's a little choppy. Cross+1 practice is really paying off :D

Cubing has taught me that I can't be perfect at everything. I used to average sub 11 back in 2021, and I haven't improved ever since.

2 years later and this is a goldmine of nostalgia, holy cow. Forget about the road to sub 20, I'm actually going for sub 15!!! So... here's what happened while I completely forgot about this thread. Time Date Replay 19.333 7/26/2020 https://jstris.jezevec10.com/replay/18733101 18.645...

I'm honestly really bad at one-looking too, I guess it just comes down to practicing and doing more solves.

That's some crazy fast improvement right there! Try to one-look your cubeshape if you haven't already, you don't have to memorize algs but just try to look for the scallop-kite / scallop-scallop patterns.

I'm literally so jealous right now. Congrats though :p

Impressive singles for your average, holy crap! I average like low 11 on 3x3 and I've only gotten 5 sub 7s in around 5000-6000 solves. Any advice on getting lucky on 2x2 btw :)

I aggressively cheesed Kevin Hays' Duck NR.

Absolutely horrible opinion but we should have budget Maglev cubes! edit: Not software-related but I don't think there's a thread for cube ideas, sooooo.

You should try buying a real-life 15 puzzle (or make your own like I did), it's a lot more enjoyable in my opinion.
