I use your format, and I am sub-40. My memo is usually sub-12, so you can stick with KRZ.

    What's your PB 3x3 single?

6.14. Got it yesterday, after getting a 6.20 PB some solves earlier. It had a CMLL skip and a 4 move First Block for Roux. Pretty stoked I didn't mess up.

[Help Thread] Roux Discussion and Help

If you are talking about the UDFB centers, you should definitely ignore those when solving your blocks. But, as the post above says, non-matching centers is a great technique. I personally use it a lot, and it has got me many a good time. Solving non-matching blocks, however, is not very...

Should I learn CFOP, Roux or ZZ?

I have, it doesn't make that big of a difference time wise for me, I average about 16 with CFOP, so I just use that for 5 and up. The slice moves aren't that hard, there is just the risk that some of the layers won't turn, so that's why I don't use it. Also, Roux is very inspection heavy, and...

Should I learn CFOP, Roux or ZZ?

If you want to get faster, I think the best way to go is to learn Roux, because no matter what method you end up using eventually, you will use the skills and algorithms you learn from Roux. Roux is also pretty fun, and if you stick to it you can be really fast. Case in point, Kian Mansour...

Should +2's be switched to DNF's officially?

I absolutely agree with these points, except the difference between a +2 and a DNF can matter a lot at the highest level of cubing with certain events. If you +2 a 1:59 7x7 solve, it's going to hurt, but not as much as a DNF for that solve. Same goes for Megaminx. The previous WR average by Yu...

Should +2's be switched to DNF's officially?

As a Roux user, I think that counting M moves as +2s would not be beneficial overall for those types of situations. As Kit said, there wouldn't always be a way to judge how many degrees it is off by. As far as changing +2s to DNFs, I think it is impossible to do so for the past results, but in...
