Getting back into cubing after a hiatus. Used to be low-40s, getting more towards low-50s and mid-40s now. :( I've watched solves on YouTube, and I notice that I use too much of my hands when I turn the faces. I don't turn it with a full wrist motion, but, for example, my U' is my right index...

I came back to cubing after a long hiatus. I got lower 40 averages before. Now I'm in the mid-40 range. :(

"It was nothing."

The dragon said, "Haha, little girl! This is what you get for buying Type B's!"

I meant to put left Shift key, leaning a bit towards the right. I have a weird way of typing. i still do like 90-100 WPM, but secretaries and pro(?) typists usually try to correct me. EDIT: I also sometimes use my left index for spacebar. Weird, huh?

I started Intuitive F2L yesterday. Today, i got my first Sub-40 solve with intuitive F2L: 38.69!

How long did it take most of you to get Intuitive F2L down? I've got most of the theory of it down, just not the actual execution. I just learned yesterday, and I don't feel that this question merits its own thread, so when do you think I'll get back to my 45 avg. and 32 PB from my current...

to thank Zack

I'm pretty newb, only having been cubing really for about 5 months total, without getting past 4LLL ever. I encountered a few barriers, one of which I broke consistently starting today. 90 (When I was uber newb) 60 45 40 (Broken today) I actually got an Avg. today that looked like this...

I got a Sub-40 Single (39.00) for the first time today! I also got it on film! But you don't see the solve very well, just the insanity at the end. Curse the zoom!

Last time I went to Wal-Mart, I was told that they stopped carrying Stackmats. Same with Target. I just ordered one on the official website.

Why all the Dan Brown hate? Maybe I just don't get it... EDIT: Sorry for Off-Topic-ness

Yay! I went onto Cubemania today and got a new PB Average of 5 and 2 new PBs in one average! 49.29 (First Sub-50 since I got back into Cubing a few days ago) 43.53 (PB From 44.01 Skipped 3rd Look of 4-Look LL) 1:01.69 (My hands were shaking after PB) 48.42 (I got my mellow back) 42.77 (2nd New...

E.drid here, saying "Yes, I did." Twice.

I've bought from both, and I see little to no difference out of the box. The real difference is shipping. PP ships from Hawaii, so in the States you don't have to pay for international shipping. C4Y ships from China and packs a punch on the shipping costs to westerners. I can't speak for Europe...

Hey everyone! E.drid here! I've been lurking for awhile now, and I finally decided to post! Here's a bit about my Speedcubing career: Last summer, I got to about 40 second averages. I had 4-Look LL down and I was just about to graduate into 3-Look when School hit. I took a break and got...

Eep! Didn't mean to offend -- I have no opinion of my own to go off of, just others'. EDIT: I even Edited that mean post.

I assembled it myself. The pieces looked pretty much identical to my Type (a) from Cube4You. Thank you for your responses; I just wanted to set my fears aside that down the road I would realize it isn't the good cube I paid for (I've heard Type (e)s aren't very good [no offense to its users, who...

Today, I received my order of one White Type (a) DIY Cube from Puzzleproz. At lest, I think I did. You see, on the front of the package, it was labeled e-White. Anyone know if that means it's a Type (e) (I didn't see Type (e)s when I went back to the ebay store to see if they even carried them)...
