    [Help Thread] Multi-Blind Discussion

Again an extremely long break between multi attempts, last one was probably at the beginning of the year (if ever); since then, I switched to a new corner buffer and had many breaks between BLD practice sessions... Still 11/11 in 28ish minutes, no execution mistakes. I still don't know how...

    6x6+ Blindfolded Rankings Thread

First 6BLD success, finally !! 27:43[17:28] Cube: MGC First attempt was in the summer of 2018, then maybe around 12 attempts split over 2.5 years. Yesterday was my first overall BLD attempt in about 2 months, missed by a slice somewhere and a few pieces. And today's finally the right time! I...

4/4 4x4MBLD on 4th of December! I think I tried once in 2017 or 2018, but this time was the first serious attempt with more than 2 4x4s. 32'[23'], extremely safe on both memo and exec since my "old" cubes are trash. 6BLD and 5MBLD next :D

    [NR] 3BLD French NRs - Arthur Garcin - 24.12/27.64

Thanks man! Definitely, I'm aware of that for quite a long time, it's already much better than several months ago! My biggest issue at the moment is that I still have crappy algs for some comms (both edges and corners) that I need to improve. My average TPS on these solves was respectively 5.8...

    [NR] 3BLD French NRs - Arthur Garcin - 24.12/27.64

Sooo happy to have finally achieved good times officially, at least closer to my global average at home :) Done in the first round of UK championship last WE! Gopro footage and reconstructions are available (see in the description). Also pulled out a (too) safe last solve in finals, missing...

[NAR] Ishaan Agrawal 22.72 3BLD single

I always love watching his execution, can't wait for the footage. I'm guessing gorgeous S move comms as always ;) Very well done !

I definitely agree, that's exactly how I understood the principles behind commutators, playing with 4x4 centres. That is actually one of the most memorable moments I got from BLD solving so far.

Last WE in Lyon, finally got a good 3BLD single, which is now NR btw Also first ever 5BLD success on the third and final attempt. Three slow attempts but I really wanted at least one success! yey

    [Help Thread] Multi-Blind Discussion

I think that instead you really should use comms for multi (for both edges and corners), this will bring you so much confidence in your comms if you practice them regularly with different cubes. Just don't rush as much as you would on a single BLD solve. -- Last WE in Lyon (France), 11/16 in...

    [Help Thread] Multi-Blind Discussion

7th attempt for 16 cubes, and finally I get it all correct! UNR by the way :D 51'51 with 40'56 memo, giving a very nice 41s per cube average execution. I didn't have any significant pause during execution and the final time is therefore very good. No footage unfortunately, as I forgot to...

    [Help Thread] Multi-Blind Discussion

Well I usually have 2 locations per room. I create an image for corners in one location, and a second image for edges in the other location; sometimes I need two images to memo all the necessary information (in case of many cycles for edges usually), so either I use a third location or I just...

    [Help Thread] Multi-Blind Discussion

Wow thanks for your feedback ! That's crazy, I had never thought of multiple rooms per cube. I have tried 16 cubes several times (best at 14/16 so far) in about 50 min roughly. So some more are feasible within the remaining 10 min. With my current pace probably 19 or 20, I guess? Btw I don't put...

    [Help Thread] Multi-Blind Discussion

After a massive 5BLD DNF tonight, wanted to relax a bit with a 5 cubes multi :p First attempt 4/5 in 11:33.56[8:05.63], one edges 3-cycle away from solved on the 4th cube, most likely a wrongly executed edge comm, backwards. Very slow memo but was just out of my 5BLD and needed some accuracy...

    Big Cube BLD Discussion

Hi guys, Just started very recently 5BLD, I am now wondering about the order of execution. Basically this is at the moment the structure I'm using: - memo X and + centers, same room but different locations; usually 3 locations for each - memo wings in another room, 3 locations as well; in case...

    Blindsolving Failure Thread

Just started 5BLD about one week ago, last WE I went on several failed attempts on many pieces, discovered that some of my center comms were wrong and many could be really improved. So I went on centers-only scrambles in the last couple of days. Tonight first 5BLD attempt since last Sunday...

    2017 New Year's Resolutions / Goals

By the end of 2017 these are my goals: (home results / official results) Main events 3BLD: sub35 regularly + sub22 sg + sub25 mo3 / French Ch. title, Worlds podium with a sub25 in the finals (NRs maybe?) 4BLD: sub 6 regularly (shouldn't be long with a bit of practice) + sub 4 sg / French Ch...
