The New Method / Substep / Concept Idea Thread

Really not viable, 3 look and you get diag/adj swap 5/6 solves = average 20+ moves Ortega is much better as there are fewer and faster algs. Im not sure what you have against adj/diag diag/adj, but the algs are very fast (faster than pure diag).

[Help Thread] Redi Cube Discussion and Help

I disassembled the cube until only the screws and centre bases were left on, then i got some pliers and cut of around half a centimetre off of the three sticky outy bits(the ends of the traingular centre base) on each base (24 in total). After reassembling there was a lot less catching than before.

Here's a more in-depth explanation: first you make the first layer as normal. Then you would solve one of the corners + the E layer edge that would go beneath it. Then you would solve the same pieces for an adjacent corner + the U edge that goes between that corner and the previously solved...

I'm averaging around 16-17 seconds with a quite basic method me and Rob Yau came up with. It involves solving the first layer as normal and then reducing it down to 2 gen.

    [Help Thread] Master Pyraminx Discussion

i got one a few weeks ago and have been averaging between 30 and 35 with a lucky single of 16.31. My method is: layer (doesnt need the centre) -> edges -> centres -> wings. sonetimes i solve centres and edges together.

So i thought of this LL method which seems to be between beginners LL and full CLL. The idea is to orient all of your pieces and also permute two of them so that you would either get the easy PLL or a PLL skip recognition seems to be easy as it is only recognising where two stickers are in...
