That's a cross/lookahead problem. Do you do any xcross? Time to work on spotting your first pair in inspection and optimizing cross speed.

In that case, I'll be happy to critique anyone slower than me. I can't update my signature, but I can pull a sub-15 ao5 most days. Any sub-12 folks interested in yelling at me for bad lookahead?

You sound a bit ahead of me, except I use fewer moves. Can you post splits?

Nope, rest of the time is recognition. I have awful alg speeds for ll, too. I average close to 14 until I get an n-perm or bad oll case, which adds another two seconds, which screws up my average.

Yeah, I'm sub-17 and only know full OLL and all PLL. My f2l is 7 seconds, my ll algs take a bit over 2 seconds each on average. It's sad, and I'm drilling them to get better, but I'm this close to sub 15.

Oddly, LSE is pretty easy for me, blocks are the hard part, since I try not to resort to simple CFOP. Once I hit sub 20 with roux I'll learn CMLL.

I'm bored with CFOP and coming back after a long break. Interested in breaking sub-17 with multiple methods, and I adore m-slice moves.

Yes. Older cubes are often amazing, but don't have the uber-light feel that we've been spoiled with. My single and average PBs are both on a 3-year-old cube, and were on a 4-year-old one before that.

All Qiyi cubes, all Yuxin cubes. All Moyu 3x3s, and Moyu 2-7. Toss in CB for luck, and I'll buy.

I've got siblings, and I find that I have to clean out my cubes on a 3 month cycle to keep them working at all.

I think it's amazing out of the box.
