Mine was starting to get a nice loose feeling just before it locked up. When I saw what the problem was I tried putting in a little spacer so even when the screw was tight, the halves would have more clearance but the pin kept popping out of the hole and it'd lock again. :( BillB

The little protrusion tip is there and not damaged and goes into the hole in the other half and it's still misaligned? I had something similar happen to mine but found that the screw had loosened and the tip wasn't lined up in the hole anymore. Sorry I can't be of more help then. BillB...

Take the screw out of the center and split the core into 2 pieces. One piece will have a small protrusion and the other half will have a small hole. Make sure to line these up and put the 2 halves back together. Install the screw and tighten. BillB

I really have a good time at the Cove comps. and have every intention of being there again this year. Given my track record with having to unregister from events, I'm not going to sign up until the last minute or I might just show up the day of. So far it looks good for me being there. BillB

Andy, I'm trying to order 2 cubes from the site and pay with Paypal. When I get to the screen that asks for my Email and Paypal password, I noticed that it's not a secure page. Is there a way to do it securely? TIA BillB

Put a thimble or something on your finger too because the pin will be hot. I soldered the pins in on my 4x4 and three hands would've really helped. BillB

I just got done soldering pins in mine and I've got to say it's no easy task. But, it does work. Your price seems well worth it for the work involved. BillB

I'd love to go since it's been alomost a year since my last competition. I probably won't register until 2 or 3 days before though. Bill B
