No. Spectators must always stay at least 1.5 meters away when someone is competing (7b).
I disagree. I've competed in mbld a lot at several competitions and the environment at Worlds was excellent.
Somehow managed to improve my 5bld by more than a minute at Mental breakdown Germany, even lost some time by cancelling 6 corners because I realised I swapped the first and last pair.
Then failed the 4bld and 3bld final :p
Why 2/24?
Maybe I didn't understand the question but... why isn't the chance of at least one twisted corner (1 - (1/3)^7) ?
Also how could it ever be 44% or 48%? Almost half of the scrambles would have no twisted corners, which is clearly wrong.
I agree with the gloves and chair, not with the breakfast and transport. A5b starts with "While inspecting or solving". But I never fully understood the point of A5b anyway :D
Also, I've always wondered if having a 3x3 in front of you while solving a 4x4 would violate A5b, since you could use...
Reading A5b, I'd say no. But what about wearing gloves to keep your hands warm? One could argue that's receiving assistance from an object too :)
A5b) While inspecting or solving the puzzle, the competitor must not receive assistance from anyone or any object other than the surface (also see...
Why does it need an inspection timer? An app for reading scorecards seems a seperate idea / tool, and you would only need one device with that app per comp.
