i have been wondering lately about an interesting topic. skips. many of us have our best times coming from some sort of skip, be it OLL or PLL, and the current WCA 3x3 world record by Mats Valk was achieved due to an OLL skip if im not mistaken. so, my inquiry was, should solve times achieved...

I am relatively new to cubing (about 3 months in) and my average is roughly 28 seconds (3x3). i use CFOP with cross on bottom, 2-look OLL and full PLL. i would like to know if there is any easy tips i can follow to become faster? As well as if I've made good progress already!
