Does anyone know much about FTO?

I think a lot of people will start with FTO with the new DianSheng "cube". Could anyone that knows much about FTO tell us about it? (What are the best methods? What's considered a good time?...)

Help me, I'm getting existential thoughts

    1. I think that CFCE is better than CFOP, or they're at least equally good. 2. Cross is easier in Roux, two fewer pieces 3. F2L is easier, because of the M slice 4. CMLL is better than CLL because the M slice can be ignored 5. LSE has an average movecount of 11, ELL of 9 6. More than two moves...

    Hand dominance for MU algorithms

I'm just wondering which hand you use for the M moves in MU algorithms. I'm left handed, but I'm doing right handed algs. I do my M moves with the right hand and the U moves with my left hand in MU algs. In the poll, I would be "Right handed, right hand M moves", even though I'm actually left...

    OH V-perm

    I'm using R' U R' U' R D' R' D R' U D' R2 U' R2 D R2 V-perm for two-handed. I've looked through some collections of OH PLL algs, but I can't find it. Is it bad for OH? Should I learn another algorithm for it?

Algs that change on different puzzles

    The RUD V-perm on a 2x2 includes a rotation because of the parallel U and D moves. R' U R' U' R D' R' D R' y R2 U' R2 D R2 This algorithm "changes" on the 2x2. Are there any other examples of algorithms that "change" or feel really different on other puzzles?

    Turning style?

I've heard people say "I have an aggressive turning style." but what does that mean? Which turning styles are there? How can I figure out my turning style?

How does a stackmat timer work?

I've tried pressing it with cubes but that doesn't work, so I believe it's sensing the hands' warmth. Does anyone know anything about this?

Poll about the most liked gen

I just wanted to know which gens are the most liked. A gen is a subset of moves that is e.g. used in an algorithm or reduced to. ZZ an is RUL reduction method because it's making the cube solvable with only those moves.

    Visualcube helper (LL)

Visualcube is fantastic, and the reason I'm doing this. I just think that it's a little hard for a human to understand. I've found an editor online but I am to stupid to use it. I made a Google Sheets spreadsheet which can generate the links for LL pictures. Just copy the spreadsheet and use it...

    [Member Intro] Hello!

I've already posted one thread but I thought I might as well introduce myself. Hello! I'm Tigerninja (which thankfully isn't my real name) and I'm interested in basically everything. That's a pretty good personality to have since everyone can talk to you about their special interests. I'm...

    2LLL methods

Here's some mathematics for why CFCE is the easiest to learn It all started with me counting skip probabilities. I couldn't count the probability of a CLL skip, but was able to calculate the ELL skip probability. I realized that the chance of skipping both ELL and CLL is equal to the chance of...
