SSC (Shadowslice Snow Columns) 3x3x3 Method

Guys, I think I have an idea to make this more efficient and better for the last few steps. Instead of doing belt + CO then CTL, then CPETL, then EPBL, which ends up being about 21 + 5 + 12 + 11 = 49 or so, why don't we do this: 1. Belt + CO (20 moves) 2. Solve FB in the bottom-left (3 or 4...

SSC (Shadowslice Snow Columns) 3x3x3 Method

    So am I doing this right? Scramble: U F' B' D' F' R' U2 D F R2 D2 B2 D L2 U R2 F2 U R2 L2 z2 // inspection R F x M D2 U F' L' F2 // EOLine (8/8) R2 // Separation (1/9) U2 R' D2 R2 D // Column things (5/14) U' R2 // OL5C (2/16) U' D2 R' // CO + Belt (3/19) L2 D L2 D R2 // Corner separation (5/24)...

SSC (Shadowslice Snow Columns) 3x3x3 Method

Hey guys, here are most of the EZD algs I use, I'm finishing up the list right now: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EHGcr92ksjRZflXDwgBwhA8o04mrGoJShV3bYLzY-gI/edit?usp=sharing

SSC (Shadowslice Snow Columns) 3x3x3 Method

Okay this seems super cool except that I have no idea what's going on. So you do the EOLine on left thing whilst separating the remaining E-slice edges, and then I get lost. How does this work?

The New Method / Substep / Concept Idea Thread

Wait this could be a really cool idea. What if we added in a bit of some other stuff too: 1. 2x2x2 in BDL (6 moves) 2. Pair in FDL + E-slice EO (6 moves) 3. 2x2x1 added on to the 2x2x2 in the back to form a 2x2x3 + 1 pair (8 moves) 4. Final E-slice edge with LL EO (6 moves) 5. COLL (10 moves)...

A Roux/ABC Hybrid with a very low movecount and few algs

I got unlucky with the CP + EO, normally the movecount would be better, plus the SB is better recognition-wise and the L6E step is better IMO. As for CP + EO, it is about the same as CMLL, but the FB is undoubtedly better in this method.

It's like right under ECE, you'll spot it if you look. I am trying to finish the EPBL algs, they'll be up soon

ECE - New 3x3 Solving Method

Guys, I've had a pretty good idea recently and I think it is even better than ABC. It is a sort of combination of ABC and Roux and the result is pretty intriguing. I would appreciate it if you guys would go check out the thread and tell me what you think!

A Roux/ABC Hybrid with a very low movecount and few algs

Okay, here is a modification to the original proposal with an example solve: 1. Solve a 2x1x1 in DBL as a part of your Roux block 2. Solve the remaining FB corner with an oriented E-slice edge 3. Solve the rest of the E-slice and CO with EJLS (16 cases) 4. Permute the E-slice whilst solving the...

A Roux/ABC Hybrid with a very low movecount and few algs

Well I guess it is similar to what I proposed in the new method concept idea thread since that is what this is. 16 algs, and it's actually really easy I'll do an example solve tomorrow. How is it not intuitive? I can do it intuitively.

A Roux/ABC Hybrid with a very low movecount and few algs

Hi everyone, here is a Roux and Adam-Briggs Columns hybrid method I thought of and I think it has potential 1. Solve FB, but the E-slice edges only need to be oriented E-slice edges, they don't need to be permuted. Movecount: 6-8 2. Solve SB with E-slice edges oriented and in the E-slice but...

My algs are very nice (mostly MUD moves) and I used Cube Explorer. You need to know how to tweak the alg so that the S moves become D/D' or U/U' with cancellations into an M
