I have the old one and every cubie feels kinda bubbly or so I cant really describe it. Also the yellow is not as bright as in most other cubes. It was my main for some time and really like this cube. I recommend getting some extra magnets and sticking them right on the old magnets in the edges (no glue required). That makes it a lot better.

It was fine out out of the box, I lubed it with some Traxxas 10k, DNM 37, and Mystic and I set the elasticity to 2.
