My mom buys "school books" and tries explaining it to !e and my sis.
She only teaches when my sis wants to because she 'wants to know what level we are at" and sis is stupid not to like school in pursuit of her music career

She (sis) wants to be a musician. Uses AI to generate audio and help her compose it all.
It is ok considering, but I am beginning to hate AI and only use it to pass time (trolling AI is funny)

Mom does not let me study by myself because "sis will have to catch up"
Guess what? I do not care anymore if sis has to catch up. I have my own education to worry about.
I kinda gave up fighting them. We are busy with other stuff anyway, and I am smarter than 50 percent of my local population.

them not wanting you to get a job so that you can help them at their “old” age is understandable
but them not letting you study because they’re afraid your sis might get left behind? That’s not your problem tbh

And yes, you are reading it right. However, I cube way more than I study, as I am 18 and am smarter than a lot of people already. Not bragging, just saying that I would rather teach (cube) than be taught (normal stuff.)
