How were your solves today?

I didn’t get around to doing a session but today I got better at cycle breaks in 3BLD. I’m learning from the 3BLD WR holder’s video and in the video he gave practice scrambles to turn into letters. He said he’ll check if they’re right in the comments but he doesn’t seem to check them so I’m awaiting a response in the “blindsolving discussion and help” thread

Haven’t done any timed solves, only practicing inspection but today ill do a proper practice session

How do you practice inspection? I often practice "no inspection"

Like I do a hand scramble, and try to predict cross+1

Cool. I am able to predict 3 and maybe 4 cross edges
How do you plan 1 f2l slot when cross goofs it up?

I can only predict cross at best. Cross +1 refers to the first f1l slot, right? PR did I misunderstand Caleb V. when he told me he does cross +2

Yes cross+1 means cross and 1 F2L pair

How do you plan it out when cross ruins it? Or is it just my planning that is goofy?

You mean when the cross solution messed up the pieces of the pair? I learnt how to plan where the pieces go using this site: https://crystalcuber.com/train/cross

It teaches you how to plan efficient crosses, tells you what the most efficient cross solution is if you want it to, and you can also change how many moves the cross will be in the scramble it gives you.

I used it to learn how to plan 1st pair on 3-move crosses, then 4-move crosses, then etc. Planning first pair is still hard for me though
