It's already starting to get really hot here these days. And there are just a few days left until summer officially begins.

Really? The temperature here has been in the mid 60-70s Fahrenheit.

Wow, that's amazing! It was around 67 here in the early hours and reached 97 during the hottest part of the afternoon!

How do you manage the heat

Here the problem is that it doesn't cool down much at night, and the day starts with a temperature of about 83 indoors.
We cope with it using a fan and air conditioning—and, above all, by drinking cold beverages.

Yeah, the temperature drops here a lot at night.

I mostly drink cold water. I also drink iced tea, but not as much—I like it. I don't drink soda. Well, just the occasional cold beer, which I also like.
What drinks do you like?

Root beer
Iced tea is good, and hot tea is perfect for dinner to me. Iced is awesome for hot days.
Aside from that water that is almost freezing is the norm here.
I am almost immune to brain freezes so I drink my stuff kinda fast with smoothies and shakes too!

Wow, I'd never heard of root beer before! Interesting! I'll look for it at my supermarket today and give it a try!
I also drink my water almost ice-cold—I don't like it at room temperature. Actually, I don't like any drink at room temperature; it has to be super cold!

And ice cold water...mine started freezing in my hand once. Took hours for it to thaw

I like the Tomb Raider games—but the classics, the ones I used to play as a kid—since you can still play them on any PC, and I still play them! As for the movies, they’re not bad...
