For 3x3, I like the Reduced Fridrich; that's the one I use.
When solving other puzzles, I see if I can use algorithms I already know; for example, I can often use the Niclas, which swaps three pieces.
Which methods do you like?

CFOP Yau and Redux!
Which hand to you favor?

Cool! Good methods—I use CFOP too.
For 3x3, I use both hands; I don't practice one-handed. But I'm more of a right-handed person when it comes to executing algorithms.

How high is your tps? And your move count on average?
RS_Cube
RS_Cube
I don't know what TPS is, sorry 😅
And I don't know my average number of movements because I do it without timing myself and I don't count the movements.
How about you?
Jared Burkhart
Jared Burkhart
4-5 turns per second (TPS)
55-67 move count for me.
I average about 15-17 seconds.
I was just wondering if you might like some help. Because I would love to!

Any news bro? How have you been!

Wow! That's really fast!
Those are some good numbers!
Thanks a lot. I'm happy with this for now. If I ever decide to start competing and want to improve my times, I'd love for you to coach me.
Everything's good, bro! How about you?

Got tired again bro. Yesterday was, in a word, a disaster. But today is still new!
What are your summer plans?
RS_Cube
RS_Cube
What happened? Yeah, it's a new day!
My plans for the summer? Well, I'll just take it as it comes—relaxing at home and doing things, and maybe heading out somewhere.

Drill big cubes when I can.
I am a big cube freak😆
But been busy trying to help my parents deliver groceries for people. And that takes up most my day. So...
How long have you been cubing?

RS_Cube
Awesome!
That's great—we all have our own preferences.
Wow! Do you guys have a food delivery service?
I get it—it's exhausting. But hang in there!
I got into Rubik's Cubes in 2016, and since then I've been practicing and learning, at my own pace, of course 😅

Walmart has a system we use. I honestly would rather find an actual job, but this is ok for now.
The best way to learn is at your own pace bro!
Since 2016 is cool yo! What grabbed your attention to start?
RS_Cube
RS_Cube
Well, for now, just keep at it and check out some of the work. Yeah! I'm taking it slow, collecting things too and solving them!
How did you get started?

By chance, I started watching videos of a Spanish Rubik’s Cube enthusiast who collected lots of cubes; his videos were entertaining, and the puzzles he showed were really beautiful. Eventually, it caught my attention. I remembered I had a small Rubik’s Cube I’d won at a bowling alley, so I tried scrambling it and solving it, but I used a tutorial. And ever since then!

AWESOME!
My older bro got me started. In 2017 I solved 2x2 twice and quit for a year.
Then in 2019 I started trying it on 3x3
In 2020 I got soooo bored I just tried it and practiced hardcore ever since then!
Among your collection, which was your most expensive one?
RS_Cube
RS_Cube
Great! That's a great start!
The most expensive piece in my collection so far is a wooden golden cube made by Tony Fisher that I bought directly from him. It cost $290.

They made a commercial version. It's a ghost skewb. The cuts make it hard to solve because they're confusing.

I had one before. I could never solve it completely. The centers were the only things unsolved when I had it
