We got an air conditioner last summer
It !makes life a bit more tolerable, but overall it could work a lot better.
During the winter it could get as cold as -40 degrees Fahrenheit!

Wow, it's so cold! In my city, we only ever get down to -7 Fahrenheit. But in the summer, we have days that reach 104 Fahrenheit.

Woah...
The hottest it gets here is 85 degrees Fahrenheit
It is torture
Do you know English? Thanks for translating because I have no idea how to speak any other language

I know very little. I use a translator; it's a pleasure to translate for you. I only speak Catalan and Spanish.

And to be honest, I haven't traveled much either. Apart from places within Spain, I was once in England and a few times in Andorra.

Cool!
I was in Canada maybe 4 times...
Other than a few of the states I don't get around much.
What is Catalan?

How cool!
Catalan is the language spoken in the autonomous community of Catalonia. In Spain, there are different dialects, depending on the region (autonomous community).

I considered learning Spanish once, and my brother encouraged me to, but I am wanting to learn Japanese for my grandmama.
But lol I am horrible at it
How long did it take you to learn another language and what are some major things to keep in mind?

Eh?

Sorry, it happened again, darn translator.

Wow, Japanese is difficult but interesting. Is your grandmother Japanese?

Well, Catalan is my native language, and I learned Spanish at school. They also taught English. I couldn't tell you how long it takes to learn it; I suppose it depends on how much effort you put into it.

Yes,my grandma is part Japanese and feels very strongly about it.
She gave me about a hundred words to work with and then expected me to make my own sentences, but I have no idea how to structure them, so she kinda gets disappointed with me every time we talk.
But what I do know is fun!
Bokuwa nihongo ga squoshi wakanimas!
(I speak little Japanese is the translation)

That's great!
There are people on YouTube who teach Japanese in a simpler way, I think; maybe that can help you. If it's important to her, it's important to you too. Look for a method, maybe even a mobile app that teaches languages. It's great that you speak a little Japanese; I also like Japanese culture, food, etc.

I love their culture!
Pioneering in technology is awesome to me!
Thanks for the reference to apps!
I often forget about apps.
What do you like about their food?
My dad makes THE BEST chicken katsu!

I also like its architecture. I often watch YouTube videos of someone named Rambalac; he does hikes all over Japan. As for the food, I like how it's prepared, the ingredients, and the flavor. Wow, I'd love to try it!

Well, visiting Japan is on my bucket list for sure!
What is the culture like for you?
I often confuse Mexican culture with Spanish culture (sorry) because both cultures speak Spanish primarily. Is it nice for the most part?

In mine too! I hope I can someday.
I see it's a calm culture, doing things conscientiously and with strict rules.
Don't worry, I'm not familiar with Mexican culture, but I imagine it's different from Spanish culture. But yes, it's generally nice.

What do you like most about Spain?
Can you send me some pictures of your favorite spot?

I suppose the food, and the scenery too. Sure! I'll send you some photos. The first is of a reservoir in the mountains near where I live (Lleida), and the second is also nearby, on the rocks of a beach in Tarragona. Send me some too!

I love the view!!!!!
So to recap what you do...
You love collecting cubes, you are Spanish(go Spain!) And we want to visit Japan someday!
You have a follower forever broooo!!!!!!

That's right! Same here, brooo!!. I'll show you a bit of my collection!
The first shows the modifications I've made: wooden cubes and other things, plus two Tony Fisher cubes.
The second has the vintage puzzles.
The last one holds the rest of my collection.
