well, i'm just another 16-year-old who speedcubes, likes math and science, and plays the guitar. i think speedcubing is a nice escape from the hectic schedule of my life. i also participate in quizzes occasionally (my favourite one that i've ever participated in is the swiss quiz; we would've been 2nd had it not been for another school answering lionel messi instead of roger federer - i'm still bitter about that)
my favourite event switches between 3x3 and 4x4 - i like both equally but i think i need an upgrade in hardware for my 4x4, the MGC has gotten super slow.
as for the doggo... idek one of my friends sent me the photo a long time ago and i liked it, but he seems like an Asteroid Annihilator to me
Awesome! There are quite a few good options for 4x4, but stay away from Meilong as it lacks stability. @Michael Wimberly bought a good one you can ask him about!
sure, will do! i've actually had my eyes on the aosu single track (it's affordable - 2000rs which is around 21 dollars is my max budget), but i'll continue my research lol
haha the speed of my xt3v1 is why i like it so much - despite it feeling a bit wacky at times, once i warm up there is nothing that feels better than solving with it
there is also the issue of maintenance, so if you see any "just got this" reviews then you should wait to see if the person likes it once they are completely broken into it
The Qiyi M pro 4x4 has a medium speed from a slightly higher amount of friction in the pieces, and it has one of the strongest ball cores I've ever felt on any cube, not just 4x4, which creates a small amount of auto-alignment.
