Oh I don’t do this for school. I do all of my math and physics studying by myself, so I can read whatever I want to.

At school we don’t have any books we have to read for science classes. I honestly haven’t heard of the books you mentioned.

much respect for the self-study part! as for these books, they're mostly for practicing questions and applying concepts (mostly calculus although there are very nice conceptual problems as well), and less so of theory.

Are you into cube physics? I can rant on for a while, but have no one who I can relate to really...and not really rant but you know, just talk and whatnot. About cube physics I mean. You know what I mean. I think you do anyway. Do you?

WHat do you mean by cube physics? Like physics of twisty puzzle? Or is it a branch of newtonian or quantum physics?

@Jared Burkhart while I haven't specifically heard of the term cube physics, it seems like an interesting concept. if you could, would you mind explaining a bit more about it? (unless of course you're talking about the cGh thing, where we try to unify relativity, gravitation and quantum mechanics)
CrossPetrus
CrossPetrus
Um… yeah I don’t know what you mean by cube physics

How the cube works...both physically and lost my thought...sorry...but cube physics is how I learned to solve in the first place...disassembling it, inspecting it, reassembling it, and then trying to understand things like how the last layer works and how to enhance the processes to be faster overall (there was 1 word for all that but you know what I mean now, right???)
CrossPetrus
CrossPetrus
Okay, yeah I sort of know cube physics, but I’m not sure how much because I don’t know how deep the subject is. But I’m not really into it, sorry.

It is nothing really. But just what you think about how it works and why. If not interested, do you like black holes???? Those are just awesome!!!!!
CrossPetrus
CrossPetrus
Yes!! I love black holes! My phone screen literally is one!! I also like quasars.

Light has mass and volume, but is only so light that only our EYES can sense it...if gravity can restrict light in those black holes, then light has enough matter to be considered an element, just a stupid theory that I have...
CrossPetrus
CrossPetrus
So like photons have mass and volume? But what about the wave-particle duality…I’m pretty sure waves don’t have a physical mass or volume. Also our eyes aren’t the only thing that can sense light, glow else would radios work? And by element do you mean as in the periodic table?
Jared Burkhart
Jared Burkhart
No no no... an element like uhhhh like I said...this was a stupid theory that I got. And light waves??? Water has waves, but not like theee uhhhhh I should stop before I make an even larger fool of meself...
CrossPetrus
CrossPetrus
Wait…no, please explain!! I want to know your theory! You’re not dumb or a fool!

According to string theory, all matter is made of energy. Hence, technically, light and matter are forms of the same energy (according to string theory).
Jared Burkhart
Jared Burkhart
I dunno, but yes, light can be pulled by gravity, making it matter. And black holes have the energy to restrict light, making it stronger than light itself...pulling light inwards I mean, so the holes have the strength to GRIP to light and pull it back, meaning that light is matter and means that there is a force faster than the speed of light in order for it to pull light inwards.

remeber this is all based on the assumption that string theory is correct
