How did you practise when working to overcome this barrier? I can't send videos sorry so maybe just a couple of practise tips? I am very bad at doing targeted practise, so any kind of advice would be super helpful!
Yeahhhh..... I got hard core. 700+ solves since the start of this year. But tell me about how long it takes to solve certain steps(f2c, 3e, next 2 centers, last 2 centers, last edges, 3x3 stage and maybe a parity.
I feel like I'm trying to just make bars in centers, and I find it pretty hard to recognise which type of piece it is. With edges I think I just try to see which edge slot has the most of 1 kind of edge, and then I look to the other slots for more pieces (by the way all of this goes for 6x6 too)
First centers. If you can do it in 25 seconds or less, then the second center will be better also. If u solve centers in strips, then try to make each strip take 5 seconds. It is hard, but being consistent will drop your times significantly. Keep me posted please!
YOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations on the sub 5! Now to keep that consistent, the last 4 centers. As you finish one, start looking at how the next center is and plan for that. Do you know l4e technique? That will help also! Let me know...
I don't know l4e technique (I don't really understand what you mean but it's probably not something I've learnt yet)
I would be very happy if you could explain it though!
Thanks again so much for helping me so much
So on the last 4 edges...how do you solve them? They are in the "E"layer...after you have restored the centers and the other 8 edges are solved. Practice this on 4 or 5 first, but instead of slicing the layers, flipping the edge, and restoring everything, try putting an "empty" edges in the "U" layer, slicing, SWAP the edge that you just solved, and restore the layers.
