In early December of 2021, I was just doing what the regular Ipad kid does: scroll, scroll, scroll! But then one day I saw on of CubeRazn’s video popping up in my feed repeatedly. I eventually clicked the video and got hooked. Coincidentally, it was 5 days until my birthday, so I asked my parents to buy a cube for me.

I solved the cube in about a week, and i just did solves upon solves for a month (since a typhoon hit us and there was no power). A few months later, in June of 2022, I got my first 2x2. I was averaging about 4-5 on 2x2 that time. In September of 2022, I went to my first competition an di believe i was the only first timer who made is to the second round. I got a 17.64 average.

Ever since then, i kept competing whenever i got a chance. As of March 2026, I have a 7.37 PR 3x3 average together with 2 silver medals and 4 bronze medals (with 2 failed gold medals😔)

I don’t really remember when I wanted to go for 3x3 World Champion lol. If I had to guess though it would somewhere in like late 2024 (according to my progression thread). My family is quite supportive about everything. They focus more on the official results though and they get excited when I get closer and closer to getting 1st place.

My motivation is basically just getting faster and becoming the fastest cuber (hence, the world champion goal). Although I’m easily motivated when someone beats my times (I’m just a competitive person like that), and also it motivates me to see faster solvers.

as for CVOB, it’s a 4x4 method I created which was inspired by APB, OBLBL, and one of Max Park’s 4x4 WRs (I believe it was a 15.71 time)
