Ordered the Warrior 6,and expecting it sometime during the next 2 weeks, but wondering if Yau would be good on 6,and redux on 7. Any idea on how to transition to yau on 6? And why is it more efficient?
It’s much easier for edge pairing for the first four white edges (or whatever color you use for cross) because you don’t have to preserve centers (except the white/yellow obv) and then for normal edge pairing it’s much easier bc all your edges are either in the middle or on top and you don’t have to do z rotations.
And finger tricks? People have the misconception that the left hand is limited in how it works, but it actually uses the lefty a bit more, and not quite used to lefty flexing. Just practice,or are there any tricks that you do to make it seem easier? Did you start with yau or did you transition to it from redux?
Well, I haven’t officially transitioned from redux to Yau on 6x6 and 7x7, but I know it is much more efficient and I probably will soon. I’m bad at finger tricks overall lol, so I don’t have much advice there
That it ok.I wil work on it.Got an average solve with Yau on 6 one time.Otherwise, been pretty slow with it.And got 5;24 solve on 7x7 o the csTimer for the first use,but got back to normal later.
GOT THE WARRIOR 6 EARLY! Reviewed it and will send the video to you later. But it is AWESOME! Sorry to say,but used redux instead of yau,and got 3:06.04! Definitely one of my better times.
Perhaps you could tell me how to change from one cube to another? I could use your help there. And the Warrior 6 is insane! Got a 2:31.20 single, and I lost second trying to find a parity, but it WAS SOLVED!
Yeah, still new to it. The settings are very strange, and I think I ruined everything. I prefer the weekly comps on this forum over the cs thingy. But once I understand it,then this might help the quality of my channel. Do you have a yt channel?
Huh. So what i did was i switched the 7x7 mode to 6x6 mode, but session wasn't switched. Is that where I went wrong? Thanks for the help,BTW!
This is what i see for center solving, might help with visualization, and execution.
You can change the scrambles to 6x6 or 7x7 up top, but then times from both 6x6 and 7x7 are in the same session. What you would need is a session for 6x6 and 7x7. On the left side where all the times are, you can change the session.
