Nice, but I have 2 more questions
1. We can only choose one of the 11 WCA puzzles?
2. Wdym tie? How could we tie if the advancement req is to get a success
And if you want to host it, I would gladly help you with it
(1/2) I’ll give you an example of the system I thought of:
Competitior A:
R1: 2x2 (14.9)
R2: Pyra (27.8)
R3: Skewb (34.6)
R4: 3x3 (1:54.3)
R5: 4x4 (DNF)
(2/2) They don’t both have successes in 4x4 and Skewb, therefore these events won’t be counted.
Competitor B was faster at 3BLD, for that they get one point. Competitor A was faster at Pyra and 2x2, they get 2 points and therefore win the tie.
This system does give big cubes a little disadvantage, but it’s the best I could do.
@CubeLite as for your second question, I guess it’s the 11 official cubes + some unofficial events I’ll announce that are usable for this comp (like redi cube, mirror cube,…)
I think just wca events is the best option. Also bc of the big cube disadvantage maybe a tiebreaker can just be repeating the round until somebody gets a success(up until a certain point, then you can just declare joint winners)
And pls do it, it sounds fun
