Agreed. Last 22nd September (which as well as being Frodo and Bilbo's also happens to be my birthday,) I watched all the extended editions in the cinema in a row, came back at 1 in the morning the next day. Currently about to read through the Silmarillion.

I am also going to read the Silmarillion soon!

I loved the Tolkien trilogy, tried to read the Silmarillion a few years ago but personally found the lore to be too...heavy? The details are definitely on a whole different level in amounts of detail, but maybe I should try reading it again now that I'm older.
