Nature, which is just a collection of greens, should theoretically be uninspiring, as we're trained to like more colorful things. But we still look at it and think to ourselves, "how beautiful". Survival involved colors too, as to telling what would be poisonous through brightly-colored insects and frogs (MORE CHARACTER LIMIT RAAHHH)

but now we see those patterns as artistic and delicate, rather than associating them with the danger we used to know. I have slight protanomaly (green-red, red weak) that makes what I would think a less vibrant red, so red is not a favorite color of mine. But it's odd that just a slight change in how you see things could theoretically affect your physical survival.

How do you think of these? Your intellectual capabilities are higher than most of us in these forums. You sir have been sent to earth to do bigger things; you are an amazingly smart individual!

I have a lot to study; I have a lot to think. I believe I just have an oddly innate ability to see the nuances of life, but I'm not sure where it comes from.
You know what? I challenge you to give me the deepest thought you can, right now.

It's all about consistency. When it's thinner, more liquidy and finer, it's a sauce, like the stuff you would spoon on a pork chop. But if it's thicker and more viscous, it's a standalone dish, as would be mashed potatoes.
