Although India has been a relatively peaceful country compared to others (the bri'ish mate) there have been instances like the Sepoy Rebellion where they fought back against their oppressors, and the British decolonization of India, where the Hindus and Muslims fought each other over territory. This division is what created Pakistan, and also killed millions in the process. This all happened during 1947.

You’re learning Indian history from a luxemborugian website!?!?

Mate and with the tone you are speaking with you seem to be suggesting that india would be better colonised.

pill. Not everything is a personal attack on you or your ethnicity, in fact quite the opposite. I just linked the Luxembourgian website because it was the first to pop up with the correct info; I learned the actual info from my AP World History class.

Ah sorry I just feel like a lot of people misunderstand my country and don’t point out the real info. And who actually is important in its’ history, like how Gandhi is 🤮 .

Now hold on a minute. Gandhi helped free India from the British rule, which was oppressive and damaging to the Indian economy. Without his help, India may not have had any form of economy today, being a fully British-controlled state. I should know, I've written many essays on it.

Do you know about?
Sardar uddham
Captain Miller
Ambedkar
Bhagat singh
Shubas Chandra bose

Just to name a few, Gandhi was just the British’s pawn. He wanted to divide the country.
I have learnt from stories passed down generations, you learned from US filtered education system.

No I am biden now , also MS. would be correct.

Also it is ok to think what you want but Gandhi is not the one that sacrificed HIS LIVE for his country. Not the one THAT DIED FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM FROM THESE MOSTERS.

Also how tf is British colonise every like such a small island they had big boats or smthg.

Btw I feel like we both learnt from different sources.

So we would have different opinions we need to learn to love eachother. And not try to make anger as that is what destroys people.

I'm not the one who makes anger here, but whatever. You can make your own self-fulfilling prophecies and make yourself feel better.

And I also feel as if you're pushing this whole "I'm now female" thing to mock the actual trans community. It's genuinely disrespectful.

cubenerd74
cubenerd74
I think that doesn't really count, since it was a war within Korea.

@Bingus Ringus McDingus the british gave Hindus some rights and Muslims some rights. in fact were living peacefully, and the fights between the Maratha and Mughal empire was not hindu vs muslim, both sides had both religions, but it was Empire vs Empire. Hindus and Muslims were treated equally. Both Empires didnt care about religion based on factual sources.

all religoous enmity was due to the british. some outdaded textbooks say the marathas and mugals were discriminating against hindus and muslims, but thats false.
