Imagine this. A government run by 60-70 year olds that won’t resign from there positions and whenever an election happens, they tell their, typically old voters, to not vote for the younger guy because he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Most people don’t bother to vote in local elections because it seems like an unwinnable uphill battle, so no one tries.
