Honestly it’s pretty annoying when people do that. As someone that has competed in a First Timer Comp (As a second comp but only months apart) it was pretty demotivating to see sub 10 cubers competing in their 20th comp. I love the idea of this newcomers months so new cubers can compete without out feeling worried about last place and cutoff times. I think your joking by I just wanted to put this out there.
