Once you get familiar with and good with the movement it becomes a lot easier. There also is usually an easy/easier alternative to the trick that barely loses any time (for example, doing easy kelpto skip instead of meme tree)

Yeah, I do normal kelpto skip, but I usually die a few times before I get it.
